What Rentably costs
Rentably is free today — for renters and for landlords. There is no listing fee, no commission, and no charge to contact anyone. This page says exactly what that covers, and what would have to happen for it to change.

What we don’t charge for

- Nothing to post a rental, and no per-listing or per-unit charge.

- We take no percentage of rent, deposits or lease value.
- Contact paywalls
- Renters are never asked to pay, register or subscribe to message a landlord.
- Lead resale
- We do not sell renter enquiries on to third parties.
Will this change?
We are not going to promise it never will. Rentably is a young marketplace, and a site that swears it will be free forever and then quietly starts charging is worse than one that told you where it stood.
So, where we stand: everything described on this page is free right now, and we have no paid product available to buy. If we introduce one, it will be an optional extra — something like promotion or screening that you can choose to pay for — and it will be announced before it launches. Posting a rental and being found by renters is the core of what Rentably is for, and putting a toll on that would defeat the point of building it.
If a price ever appears anywhere on Rentably and this page still says $0, this page is the mistake. Tell us and we will fix it.
